Common questions
Does AvoLens work offline?
Yes. AvoLens runs fully offline with your data stored on your device. An account is optional and only adds cloud sync and the AI Coach. AI photo, label and voice logging need a connection, because the analysis runs on a server.
Are my meal photos stored anywhere?
No. A meal photo is sent to the AI provider, analysed, and the result comes back. AvoLens does not save that photo to any server or database. Progress photos are different — those are yours to keep, and are stored in a private bucket only you can read while you are signed in. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
Does AvoLens track me or show ads?
No. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no attribution SDK anywhere in the app. Nothing about your usage is sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
Is AvoLens a medical device?
No. AvoLens is a tracking tool. Nutrition estimates, medication levels and coach replies are informational and can be wrong. They are not medical advice and are no substitute for your doctor or pharmacist. Never start, stop or change a dose based on this app.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Data & privacy → Delete account. That removes your account and its data, and wipes local state. You can also request deletion from the web without opening the app.
What does AvoLens Pro include?
AvoLens Pro unlocks unlimited AI photo scans, barcode scanning, nutrition label OCR, voice logging, smart AI ingredient lookup, GLP-1 companion, and full access to Avo AI (Coach, Meal Plans & Recipes). It is an auto-renewing subscription offered monthly or annually and billed through your app store. Cancel any time in your store subscription settings.
